County updates: The triple of Graham Bridges, Steve Jenner and Stuart Moaby had a good game in their divisional semi final at Maidstone, but lost on the last end. Hard luck, guys!

Jo Cartwright and Su Barton also came second in their divisional pairs final last weekend. Losing to a pair of England internationals, despite an early lead. Good effort, girls!

Jo Cartwright managed to win her two-wood singles divisional final and will now play in the Kent semi-final on Sunday 7th at Maidstone. Good luck, Jo!

On Monday 1st the Grosvenor men played against Maidstone BC in the Bert Cox Cup (one rink at home, one rink away with the over all score determining the winner). The home side kept it close, losing by a few shots but the away side had a good win, meaning that Grosvenor will face Marden in the next round on Monday 8th July.

League update: Despite a disappointing narrow defeat away at Groombridge last Thursday, coming away with no points, Grosvenor's team remained top of the Tunbridge Wells mixed triples league by 2 points ahead of this week's fixtures. We travelled to the Grove, to play against the Calverley 'B' side, hoping to find form again. Graham Bridges, Keith Waymont and Simon Watson had a comfortable win on their rink, and Jo Cartwright, Steve Jenner and Chris Tapp managed a draw - 5 points out of a possible 6, so Grosvenor stay on top for another week!

Friendly matches update: Grosvenor have been enjoying our friendly fixtures, especially in this great weather, and have been on the winning side a majority of the time so far. We face a tough challenge on Sunday, when we welcome Hastings Rosemount to the Grosvenor green. Spectators are always welcome!
