With the season fully underway, Grosvenor have won 3 out of our 5 friendly fixtures so far, with two matches this week - away at Calverley on Wednesday, and away at Bidborough on Sunday.

Grosvenor's newly-promoted league team begins their campaign in division 1 on Thursday with a home match against Calverley 'B'. Spectators are always welcome!

Last week, Jo Cartwright and Su Barton won their preliminary round in the ladies' county pairs competition away against strong opposition from Borough Green. They play their 1st round match at home against a pair from Tonbridge Bowls Club on Friday. The men's unbadged county singles also begins on Friday, with Steve Jenner playing at home.

On Tuesday, Jo Cartwright won her preliminary round of the ladies' county singles away at Wrotham, and on Monday travels to Ditton for the first round.

The men's pairs county competition begins on Tuesday evening. Chris Tapp and Graham Bridges both have away draws, with Steve Jenner receiving a bye in the first round. We wish good luck to all our Grosvenor players!

On Bank Holiday Monday, Rotherfield BC held their annual triples day competition, and a Grosvenor triple of Jo Cartwright, Steve Jenner, and Graham Bridges finished runners-up to an excellent Hellingly triple after a great day of bowls!
